1. About this policy

This policy explains how personal data is collected and used when you visit www.asmx.group (the "website") or contact us through it. It does not cover services provided by other group companies, such as ASMX Pro, which have their own privacy notices.

2. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of personal data collected through the website is Exlayr Technology Labs, a group company registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre, acting on behalf of ASMX Group. We process personal data in line with the DIFC Data Protection Law (DIFC Law No. 5 of 2020) and, where they apply to you, other data protection laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation.

3. What we collect

The website has no user accounts, forms or tracking tools. We collect only:

• Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your name, email address and anything else you choose to include.
• Technical data. When you load the website, our hosting provider automatically records standard server information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the date and time, to deliver the website and keep it secure.

We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies on the website, and we do not knowingly collect special category data through it.

4. Fonts

The website loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When it does, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser information. Google's handling of that data is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

5. How we use your data and why

• To reply to you and manage our relationship. This is in our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business, or needed to take steps you have asked for before entering into a contract.
• To run and protect the website. Technical data is used to deliver pages, diagnose problems and prevent abuse, in our legitimate interests in operating a secure website.
• To meet legal obligations. We may keep or disclose data where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.

6. Who we share it with

• Service providers acting for us, including our website host (Vercel), our DNS and network providers, and our email provider, under contracts that require them to protect it.
• Other companies in our group, where your enquiry concerns them.
• Professional advisers, regulators, courts and law enforcement where required by law or to protect our rights.
• A buyer or successor if all or part of our business is reorganised or sold.

7. International transfers

Our service providers may process data outside the DIFC, including in the United States and the European Union. Where data is transferred to a jurisdiction without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

8. How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any continuing relationship, and then for up to six years unless a longer period is required by law. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period in line with its standard retention settings.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections to the website. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased;
• object to or restrict our processing;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent, where we rely on it.

To use any of these rights, email info@asmx.group. You may also complain to the DIFC Commissioner of Data Protection, or to the data protection authority where you live.

11. Children

The website is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on the website applies, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.
